BUGATTI CHIRON SUPER SPORT 300+
THE RECORD-BREAKING OF SPEED BUGATTI
Bugatti proudly displays the Chiron SuperSport 300 + to commemorate the sensational record-breaking sprint that, for the first time, crossed the magical barrier of 300 miles (482.80 km) per hour. It’s the fastest car in the world, which can cover 490,484 kilometers in 1 hour. With this record, Bugatti is breaking new ground. Never before has a series manufacturer achieved such a high speed: the Chiron Super Sport 300+ Is the first-ever hyper sports car to exceed the magical threshold of 300 miles per hour (480.80 km/h). This particular version of the Chiron, limited to 30 units, is visually and technically inspired by a record-breaking car.
So, the undisputed top-speed leader is the Bugatti again. Once again, limited to 30 customer vehicles, such as the Veyron Super Sport, this purpose-built speed machine was brought to 304,773 mph (Miles per hour) by British sportscar veteran Andy Wallace on the Ehra-Lessien test track of the VW Company. Appropriately dubbed Thor (because it carries the thunder), the Chiron quad-turbocharged W16 engine produced 1578bhp (Brake horsepower) in record-setting shape. There was a new gearbox with longer ratios and front and rear bumpers designed for high-speed driving.
